Working to improve the well-being of Los Angeles community youth by investigating social and environmental barriers to  health equity.

Purpose

To study how various environmental exposures and stressors, namely discriminatory practices, may affect health in young adults (ages 1824 years)
living in Los Angeles.

How do I participate?

If you are between the ages of 1824 years old and you have no preexisting health conditions, you may complete the prescreener to answer a few more
questions.

What will you do?

Complete an online survey from home about your health and stressors

● Provide saliva samples collected from home.
● Attend a quick visit to provide a small blood sample.
● Provide measurements of your body (weight, hip and waist circumference, blood pressure and heart rate)
● You will be invited to retake the measurements two years from the initial visit

What will you receive?

For complete participation you will be eligible for up to $100 gift card compensation and additional gifts.

Please proceed to click the link below to answer a few questions on our pre
screening survey. If you prefer to fill out the survey on your mobile device, feel
free to scan the QR code to direct you to the pre-screener survey.

Please note that filling out the prescreener survey DOES NOT automatically

member for further instructions and details about the study.
